This talks was part of the 1º International Syposiym ISD DErmajal held in 2024 , and covered the effects of UV radiation on skin damage, aging, and skin cancer risk. It highlighted Mexico's high UV index and its impact on skin health, and reviewed trends in skin cancer incidence and future concerns related to chronic UV exposure.

Dr. Ocampo Candiani is former president of the Ibero-American College of Dermatology (CILAD) and a tenured academic of the National Academy of Medicine and the Mexican Academy of Surgery. He belongs to 19 national and international societies, including the Skin Cancer Foundation and the International Society of Dermatology, and in both he is a council member.


He has made more than 450 publications in national and international journals, is the author of 6 books and has made scientific collaborations in another 55 works. He is also editor of the journal Cosmetic Dermatology, Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. OcampoCandiani has given more than 600 conferences, both in national events and in more than 40 countries around the world.

 at the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona and at the Corium Dermatology Clinic. In addition, she is a 

 for Medical Degree students at the University of Barcelona. She has written multiple 

 in different healthcare fields and the pharmaceutical industry.

She is a Dermatologist resident at the Hospital Clinic of Valencia and has completed several master's degrees in aesthetics and dermopharmacy, 

. Currently, she maintains her healthcare activity as a specialist dermatologist in centres of the Generalitat Valenciana as well as private centres, in addition to
