Specialist in General Dermatology and Aesthetics Graduated in Medicine from the Central University of Venezuela. Specialist in Dermatology and Venereorology and Master of Science from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Dermatologist with a PhD from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Hospital Sant Pau). He was a Postgraduate at the Hospital das Clínicas of the University of São Paulo and obtained a master's degree in medical sciences. He is a specialist in mycology from the Brazilian Institute of Tropical Diseases. He completed his internship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, United States. He was an undergraduate collaborator in Dermatology at Hospital Vargas de Caracas, and Postgraduate in Cosmiatry at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Central University of Venezuela. He is currently a specialist in general and aesthetic dermatology at the Dermik Dermatology Clinic and is a member of the Venezuelan Society of Dermatology and Dermatological Surgery. He has published several papers in high-impact journals and has actively participated in research work. He currently attends numerous national and international dermatology conferences.

Doctor Sebastian Podlipnik is a dermatologist specializing in skin cancer. He completed his residency in dermatology at the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, and published his Doctoral Thesis at the University of Barcelona entitled: «Prognosis in melanoma. Optimization of monitoring schemes », in which he obtained the qualification of outstanding Cum Laude. He is a member of the Ibero-American College of Dermatology, the European Academy of Dermatology (EADV) and the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (AEDV). During the last years he has carried out several research studies, with more than 100 scientific articles in national and international journals; He has been a speaker and/or moderator in training courses for specialists, and has received more than fifteen awards for his research, such as the Award for the best work published by Spanish authors awarded by the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, for the work: " Performance of diagnostic tests in an intensive follow-up protocol for patients with American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) stage IIB, IIC, and III localized primary melanoma: A prospective cohort study" (2016), or the Best Oncology Poster Award skin presented during the AEDV national congress. "Germline mutations in POT1 but not in the TERT promoter are involved in melanoma susceptibility in Spanish families" (2018). Doctor Sebastian Podlipnik is the author of several book chapters in dermatology, and has his own book “Facial Spots When Creams Don't Work”. He currently works as an assistant in the Melanoma Unit at the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, and as a specialist in dermatology at the Diagnosis Dermatology Clinic.
